BizMix kicks off welcome week
The CBA hosted BizMix, a welcome week event on Thursday, August 25 at the Memorial Student Union Ballroom. The social allowed all university students the opportunity to learn about the college and meet current business students, faculty and staff. Business Seminars
Business Seminars hosted by the College of Business Administration began its fall series on Tuesday, August 30th with Bud Malcik from Edward Jones presenting on Investing for Small Business Owners. The free monthly seminars allow students and area business owners the opportunity to hear from professionals about key topics that impact small businesses. Read more.
Local chapter receives
national recognition
The Zeta Nu chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, The International Professional Fraternity at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, received numerous awards at the Grand Chapter Congress held in Louisville, Kentucky on August 12. The Zeta Nu chapter was recognized for its outstanding community service, professional events and most improved chapter in the region. Zeta Nu was also recognized on the provincial level for their improvement. The chapter thanks Texas A&M University-Kingsville and the Kingsville community for their continued support. Delta Sigma Pi continues to strive to promote commercial welfare in the community and foster the study of business.

Two senior accounting students, Jorge Mata and Modesto Morales, completed summer internships and were offered permanent positions. Jorge was offered a position with Goldman Sachs in Utah and Modesto Morales was offered a position with Deloitte & Touché,
