"Numbers" Side of Business
Mr. Dave DeLaney provides a valuable role in the MBA-level FINC 5331 class, which is loosely referred to as Financial Ranch Management. A hands-on approach is taken to instruction concerning the financial aspects of business management. Effective strategic ranch management requires appropriate utilization of accounting and finance tools. Cost accounting, budgeting, financing, cash flow valuation, and financial planning are a few of the key accounting and finance components taught by Professor Krueger. The course builds on this conceptual knowledge, through the application of these topics in the ranch industry.

CBA to Host Third Annual
Community Breakfast
The Texas A&M University-Kingsville College of Business Administration will host their Third Annual Community Breakfast at 7 a.m. Thursday, April 4, in the ballrooms of the Memorial Student Union Building. The event is co-hosted by the Kleberg County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Kingsville Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by IBC Bank. This event is geared toward providing an additional dimension to fiscal awareness and responsibility to students, and residents of Kingsville and the surrounding communities. Tickets are $10 per person or $80 for a table of eight.

The CBA 2012 Economic Forum
Garners Two National Awards
The 2012 Economic Forum drew two awards for total PR package from the Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA) and the Higher Education Marketing Report (HEMR). A sliver award came from SIAA, which specifically recognizes the achievements of the creativity and communication accomplishments of the service industry, and a merit award was received from HEMR, which recognizes the field of educational marketing and advertising.
